In Singapore, Lasting Power of Attorney is a legal document that allows you (“donor”) to appoint one or more persons (“donee(s)”) to make decisions and act on someone's behalf if that person loses mental capacity (ie, cannot make decisions for yourself) one day.
An executor is a person or entity named in a will to carry our instructions to manage the affairs and wishes of the deceased person's estate. The executor(s) is responsible to apply for a Grant of Probate after a person's death.
