Faraid (穆斯林继承法)

Known as the Islamic Law on Inheritance that deals with the distribution of a deceased's person's estate to his heirs in accordance with Allah's decree in the Holy Al-Quran and according to the hadith or tradition of the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) in Singapore.


Known as 'Al-Faraid' in Arabic, meaning fixed portions. . Technically, the term denotes the quantum of shares allocated to the lawful heirs as determined by Shari’ah. 34
